Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Porsche are brands of the same group and share platforms, engines and gearboxes. As a result their service items are similar in many ways, though each car's list is still set by its engine, gearbox and the way it is used.
Items in every service
- Engine oil and oil filter (to the oil standard approved by the manufacturer)
- Air and pollen filters, and the fuel filter according to mileage
- Brake fluid, coolant and other fluid levels
- Brake pads and discs, tyres, battery and belts
- General check of the underbody and suspension
What changes with engine type
On petrol engines the spark plugs and ignition parts, and on diesels the fuel filter and the condition of the particulate filter (DPF), are part of the service. On turbocharged engines oil quality and the change interval matter even more.
Gearbox service
On DSG and other automatic gearboxes the transmission oil change should also be in the service plan. We check from the chassis number which gearbox is fitted and assess the oil and filter change together with the car's mileage and use.
After the service
At the end we read the fault memory and reset the service indicator. We tell you about anything we find in order of priority, so you can plan the next job.
Periodic Maintenance
Engine oil and filter change to the manufacturer's service schedule, fluid checks and a thorough inspection showing the overall condition of your car.
