Audi General Maintenance
Audi General Maintenance in Bornova, Izmir
A make- and engine-specific maintenance list for Audi: oil, filters, brakes, fluids, belts and underbody checks, including the A3, A4, A5, A6, Q3, Q5.
On an Audi, TFSI and TDI engines, quattro four-wheel drive and S tronic and Tiptronic gearboxes each call for specific knowledge in maintenance and diagnosis; we work on these cars from the A3 to the Q5.
What is done in a Audi general maintenance?
Engine oil and oil filter, air, pollen and fuel filters, the brake system and fluid levels, belts and pulleys, tyre and underbody checks and a battery test are the core items. At the end the fault memory is read and the service indicator is reset.
The maintenance plan for Audi
In Audi maintenance the engine oil standard, oil filter and other filters are chosen to the manufacturer's approved specification. On quattro cars the differential and transfer oils, and on S tronic and Tiptronic cars the transmission oil and filter, are added to the plan. Battery, coolant, air-conditioning and tyre checks before winter and summer are available on request.
Engines and gearboxes on Audi cars
On the Audi A3, A4 and Q3, 1.4 and 2.0 TFSI and 2.0 TDI engines are common; larger models such as the A6 and Q5 add V6 TDI engines and quattro four-wheel drive. Gearboxes we meet are S tronic, Tiptronic and, on older generations, multitronic.
